Signature Portrait Session
$650
Up to 90 minutes
20+ images
These sessions are meant to feel unhurried. We take time to explore light and space, and ease into a rhythm that’s authentic, not performative. Alongside classic portraits, we’ll capture quieter, more layered moments — expect depth, texture and photos that feel like stills from your own documentary short.
Half-Day Story Session
$1,600
Up to 4 hours
50+ images
Allow me to shadow you through a chapter of your life — morning ritual, studio time, city wandering or a quiet milestone. The result is a tightly edited photo essay that reads like a magazine feature: candid, cinematic, unguarded.
Full-Day Story Session
$3,000
Up to 8 hours
100+ images
An immersive, full-day portrait of you, your crew or your family. Think of it as your own long-form photo story — the kind an editor might send me to shoot for a documentary or lifestyle magazine. Ideal for creative campaigns, families, vacations, a trip with friends, or documenting a day that matters.
Documentary Event Coverage
$375/hour | $1600/half day | $3000/full day
2-hour minimum
50+ images/hour
For events where story matters. I move with intention, focusing on moments that feel true — less posed, more observational — allowing your community to relive important moments or feel like they were there. I deliver a thoughtfully curated selection of images within 24 hours, and the full gallery within 7 days, lightly retouched for tone and clarity.
Pop-Up Portrait/Editorial Studio
$750/hour | $2800/half day | $5500/full day
2-hour minimum
20+ images/hour
A portrait series offers a powerful way to highlight community, celebrate diversity or focus on an issue or prompt that invites individuals to respond. Portraits can stand alone or be paired with quotes to tell a deeper story — a visual record of who showed up, and why it mattered. Images are professionally retouched and delivered within 1–3 weeks, depending on the scope.
Sliding Scale, Pro-Bono Sessions and Trades (Limited)
A limited number of sessions available for communities whose stories are often unseen, and where professional portraits at an affordable rate may be difficult to find:
Musicians and artists
Organizers and activists
Immigrants and undocumented families
Unhoused or formerly unhoused people
Single parents
People rebuilding after incarceration
Disabled individuals on fixed incomes
Those at end of life and their families
Dignity first, always. Whatever your circumstances, reach out and we’ll make it work.
Note: All packages include a pre-session consultation, basic retouching, online gallery with hi-res downloads, and personal use licensing. If requested, additional retouching billed at $100/hour. Travel beyond Los Angeles county, assistants, studio/location rentals or complicated lighting rigs billed separately. Editorial or commercial usage (ads, packaging, national print) is licensed in addition to the creative fee. Custom quotes available for nonprofits and commercial work.
Video & Film Direction
Social Reels
$750
2 hours shooting
1-2 edited reels (15-45 seconds)
A tightly edited, visually rich short-form video designed for social sharing, shot at a single location. These aren’t just highlight reels — they’re expressive pieces made with a photographer’s eye and a director’s sense of tone. Ideal for artists, events and campaigns looking for something more intentional than fast cuts and filters.
Short Documentaries & Brand Storytelling
$4,800 flat rate
1 day of shooting
1 finished video (3–5 minutes)
A narrative-driven short documentary created around a story, issue, community, individual or brand that includes interviews and b-roll. I direct, film and edit each piece to feel intimate, layered and grounded in real moments. This is best for small brands, nonprofits, artists or communities who want a piece that moves beyond promo — and tells a story worth remembering. Short, already edited clips can be pulled and repurposed as 15-45 second reels for $100 per reel. New edits are billed at $100/hour.
Editorial & Non-Commercial Film Direction
$1,500/day
Available to direct projects with an existing production team. Best suited for story-driven work that requires a strong editorial or documentary perspective. Includes up to 2 hours of pre-production or concept development. Additional prep or creative strategy billed at $150/hour. Rate does not include filming, editing or gear.
Note: All video packages include pre-production planning, direction, editing, licensed music, subtitles, and delivery of final files for web or social use. Travel beyond Los Angeles County, assistants, second shooters, location fees, or specialty gear (e.g., gimbal, drone, audio tech) are billed separately. Editorial or commercial usage (ads, packaging, broadcast, or sponsored content) is licensed in addition to the creative fee. Raw footage is not included unless previously agreed upon. Custom quotes available for nonprofits and mission-driven campaigns.
